when you just have to get away from the kaos of the world with your best bud.
on my way home tonite I took the long way home, oh maybe 10 miles out of the way but every 1/10 of a mile was worth it. The route took me by Fern Ridge Reservoir near Veneta, Oregon and a boat marinia that is in bad need of water; stretching the ol’ props and back I walk along the receding shoreline and there two mammals looking as if not a care in the world, seeing just this simple scene made the trip here worthwhile. I watched them for a few moments before pressing the shutter button.
