first morning light illumination was captured by being in the right place at the right, having my camera with me as I head out into the working world, and having a love of trains. the picture is of the old southern pacific machine shop which once sprouted a roundhouse now just the concrete floor remains. walking around the property I find there are various reminders of the past: peeling tile floors reveal concrete foundation, gutted control boxes attached to rotting power poles, and an intact turntable long past the glory days.
whenever the time is available I will return to this relic as there are many angles, lines, and shapes to capture.
