today an extra day from work due to court.
rather mediation to maybe prevent going to court.
driving from camas, washington to the city (portland, oregon that is) surface street drivers racing.
entering freeway it did not take long.
for i recall why i dont get behind the wheel.
often.
too many not looking at traffic in front.
instead have crotch fantasy or maybe asleep at the wheel.
some dont like the idea of another car ahead.
nascar race they think in and act in, intentional stress.
what a waste
time, money, mentality, fuel.
i let them fly on.
they change lane to the left, then center, then right, and back to center.
only one car ahead did they make, i chuckle.
mediation did not succeed, on to court.
to avoid traffic stress i walk the streets of portland.
crowded they seem as dont frequent this way.
rush hour grows, so too my boredom.
visit today not based on just visiting so cannot find the groove.
deep breath i get in car and find the freeway home.
again the nascar scene, lane changers i’m getting ahead i’m getting ahead
rutted roadway is packed to my doorstep
i am glad to be home
this is why i decline to drive, only seldom
I’ve been at 0 mph for 30 min one time

I know the feeling a job in portland, Oregon just took 45-60 minutes drive. It is sad
